Are these things hosted overseas?
One would think that they could get shut down by the FTC for trademark infringement (using the name Spybot).
Not quiet sure, but TheSpybot is of SpySheriff family. Scammers very often try to exploit well know brands in the market. They know the loopholes in the LAW very well than any one else :)
